Rentals are $125/hr. per boat with a two-hour minimum. You can rent the boat for up to 6 hours. Each boat seats up to 10 people.
The boat is as easy as driving a golf cart and cruises at 5 mph. You must be 21 years old to drive one of our rental boats and have a valid driver’s license. No boating license is required.
Each boat is equipped with an auxiliary cord, CD player and radio. You are welcome to plug in your iPod or phone and have fun jamin’ with your own music.
Maps will be provided which show routes for a 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6-hour tour.
The 21 Ft. Duffy Boat can hold up to 10 passengers of any age.
There are no bathrooms on the boat. Public bathrooms are located near the entrance to the ramp leading down to the loading dock (see Map on homepage).
Yes. Children 14 years of age and under must wear life jackets at all times. All adult life jackets are stowed in an easily accessible storage compartment.
There is a full USCG safety kit aboard each boat

We have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy, otherwise you will be charged in full for your rental. Should a manager deem the weather to be unsafe for navigating the Willamette River prior to departure, a full refund will be given. Only a manager can make this call and please note that rain does not mean the weather is “unsafe.” The boats can be fully enclosed to keep you dry in the event of rain.

Parking is available at the U-Park parking garage on SW River Drive, just above the marina. The cost is $7.50 for up to 10 hours or $3.00 per hour. Some 2-hour street parking is available.
A crew member will meet you at Portland Electric Boat Company A-frame sign located at the top of the Riverplace Marina boat ramp across from McCormick & Schmicks Harborside Restaurant.
They will orient you on how to operate the boat and review Oregon Safe Boating Regulations. Payment will be taken at this time and you will need to complete some paperwork.
It is important to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time. The designated Captain of the boat must have a valid driver’s license. Please bring a major credit card for a $500 authorization and your method of payment. You may bring food and drinks aboard. Alcoholic beverages are allowed however the designated Captain is not allowed to drink alcohol. Bring your CDs, I-pod or phone to play your own music—auxiliary cords are provided.
No pets are allowed on the boat with the exception of service animals.
You must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license. No exceptions.
Items not allowed on the boat include: firearms, illegal drugs, anything that can be lit (e.g. BBQs, cooking heaters, candles, etc.) explosive/flammable materials, flammable liquid/gel/aerosol paint, and/or dangerous chemicals.
